Pomona, CA - With the come back year of the U.S.-PHILIPPINES
EXPO 2006 as a tremendous success - thanks to the support
of the Filipino and Filipino-American communities, sponsors,
exhibitors, and advertisers - the annual event will once again
take place at the Fairplex L.A. County Fairgrounds on August
4-5, 2007.
The U.S.-PHILIPPINES EXPO's mission is to: Create awareness
of the vast market potential of the Filipino-American community
before the mainstream business sector and major segments of
"Corporate America;" enhance the promotion of a
wide variety of products from the Philippines available to
the American market; develop a more direct marketing and promoting
of American products before an affluent and captive market
such as the Filipino-American community; provide an ideal
venue for networking within a fun-filled event of massive
proportion; create a conducive atmosphere for promoting cultural
exchange between the United States and the Philippines; and
continually reinforce support of an annual celebration designed
to instill Filipino ethnic pride and cultural identity.
R-P.A.G.E., Inc. offered a personal touch by meeting with
and working hand in hand with many communities, businesses,
and organizations, which ensured the quality of the U.S.-PHILIPPINES
EXPO 2006. "So many people wanted to be part of the event,
because they knew that it would build lasting camaraderie,"
said Ruben Panopio, Founder of the Annual U.S.-PHILIPPINES
EXPO. In promoting the event, members of R-P.A.G.E., Inc.
had a blast getting to know the community in search of deserving
candidates for the Great Achievers Awards, Ms. U.S.-PHILIPPINES
EXPO, and Singing Star Competition. Nominations were accepted
for the Great Achievers Awards, a press conference was held
for the presentation of Ms. U.S.-PHILIPPINES EXPO candidates,
and elimination rounds were held at various venues for the
Singing Star Competition. All the while, the businesses that
participated were given special attention in meeting their
needs. Rutherford Panopio, Chief Executive Officer stated,
"Last year, many of our exhibitors really wanted to meet
the community with us. They wanted to get their products,
their services, their brand out there and we were happy to
have them join us at the various promotional events. We're
very open to their ideas in promoting to maximize their business."
The organizers of the U.S.-PHILIPPINES EXPO gained positive
and constructive feedback from their come back year.
Now, with the Annual U.S.-PHILIPPINES EXPO 2007 under way,
an eagerness from the communities and businesses to participate
shows great promise. The U.S.-PHILIPPINES EXPO 2007 will have
components from last year, such as the Show of Shows, Ms.
U.S.-PHILIPPINES EXPO, Singing Star Competition, Great Achievers
Awards, Salute to Our Troops, Kids Corner, Celebrity Lounge,
and more. This year's annual event will also welcome its debut
of the Junior Singing Star Competition.
Very happy with the turn out of last year's event, the Normandie
Casino has decided to participate as a Co-Presenting Sponsor
for the U.S.-PHILIPPINES EXPO 2007. RSG Fine Jewelry, first
time participants, heard nothing but great things about the
event and the organizers. RSG will be participating as a Tram
Sponsor. The Normandie Casino and RSG Fine Jewelry represent
the first of many who will sponsor this year's event. Both
the Normandie Casino and RSG Fine Jewelry have expressed their
enthusiasm about their participation and they look forward
to another successful year at the Annual U.S.-PHILIPPINES
EXPO 2007.
