R-P.A.G.E., Inc., organizers of the U.S.-PHILIPPINES EXPO
2006, scheduled for August 12-13, 2006 at the Fairplex in
Pomona, held their first press conference this past Saturday,
July 22, 2006. The event took place at the Normandie Casino’s
Million Dollar Show Room,
located at 1045 W. Rosecrans Ave. in Gardena, where the setting
was nothing but exceptional. “The promotional event
went very well. The response that we received from the media
is something that our team takes pride in,” stated Ragsdale
Panopio, Director of Public Relations. The support shown by
the community and the exhibitors of this year’s U.S.-PHILIPPINES
EXPO is very encouraging, and promises a prosperous event.
The
Normandie Casino, a pioneer in the California Gaming Industry
since 1947, played a critical role in hosting the Press Conference
for the U.S.-PHILIPPINES EXPO. The décor was elegant,
the service was extraordinary and the food, delicious. The
Normandie Casino’s Million Dollar Showroom has featured
world-renowned entertainers; they have shown their support
to the Filipino community since 1989, with their “Filipino
Night.” By hosting the press conference and having Ms.
Nora Aunor, one of the headliners for the U.S.-PHILIPPINE
EXPO 2006, as a featured guest during the U.S.-PHILIPPINES
EXPO 2006 Press Conference, shows their continued support
of the Filipino community. So, don’t forget to visit
them at booth numbers 718 and 619, during the U.S.-PHILIPPINES
EXPO 2006. You may also learn about the Normandie Casino and

Tomy Yujin Corporation (TYC), a toy manufacturer with great
insight on miniature collectibles and vending, is yet another
exhibitor in this year’s grand cultural – trade
and consumer show, who showed their support during the press
conference. Yusuke Tokashiki, Vice President of Sales and
Licensing of TYC, presented gift bags for the celebrities
as well as for the media. Brastel, an international calling
service company, and also a participant in the U.S.-PHILIPPINES
EXPO 2006, was also present at the press conference.
The press conference enabled Nora Aunor, Long Espina, and
Florante to answer questions. Additionally, the R-P.A.G.E.,
Inc. team was able to answer questions that the press had
in regards to the event, and the organization as a whole.

Inc. These core values are what the team strives to maintain
and go by, and it was made evident during this promotional
event.
